WESTAMPTON, NEW JERSEY - BACKYARD PATIO WITH SITTING WALL AND COLUMNS and FRONT PORCH AND WALKWAY

This property located in a golf course community lacked sufficient outdoor entertaining space for the homeowners.   The homeowners chose a design to fit their lifestyle and entertaining needs.  The patio was created using pavers and wall material that complement the existing home.  A sitting wall, allowing for increased use of the patio, and columns accent the patio and home.  The front porch and walkway was replaced with a new porch and walkway to match the backyard project.

MOUNT LAUREL, NEW JERSEY - NEW FRONT PORCH AND LANDINGS

The homeowners of this well-maintained property wanted to replace their existing front entryway with something new and more substantial.  They were also looking for something that would be maintenance free and more impervious to the elements and insect pests.  Careful consideration to both the architecture of the home and the homeowners tastes were used when designing the new front porch and landings / walkway.  We removed the rotten wooden structure and replaced it with a custom-built paver project.  Notice the attention to detail . . .

BURLINGTON, NEW JERSEY - BACKYARD TERRACED PATIO

This home lacked an outdoor entertaining space as the builder only provided a small concrete slab when built.  The homeowner new exactly what she wanted and chose a brand new concrete paving product which imitates large stone slabs (without the upkeep and maintenance).  This new product combined with a concrete paver wall provided an incredibly unique look.  It's safe to say that you can far and wide and never see a patio similar to this in your travels. . .  The columns serve as an additional sitting area and also as a planter where two clematis have been planted and will be trained to climb the supports for the upper deck.

HADDONFIELD, NEW JERSEY - BACKYARD PATIO AND STEPS

The homeowners of this quaint Haddonfield home wanted to replace their outdated and relatively small concrete patio with something a bit more stylish and in tune with their home.  We worked on a design and decided upon a beautiful brick red paver with hues of grey throughout.  Soft curves accentuated by a soldier course were used throughout . . .

WESTAMPTON, NEW JERSEY - NEW FRONT PORCH, WALKWAY AND WALL

The homeowners of this property wanted to update their front entryway to include a new porch, a redesigned walkway and a wall to retain their planting bed.  The existing concrete was removed and plants were shuffled about the property, providing us with a virtual blank slate from which to create the new look.  Using materials to match an existing backyard patio, we designed and installed the project you see below.  There was a noticeable difference in the appearance of the home after our work was completed.

WASHINGTON, DC - CREATING CURB APPEAL

The following property located in Washington, D.C. was recently purchased and needed a punch to liven the curb appeal of this terrific property.  After substantial discussion and planning, a design was chosen to provide the homeowners with a low maintenance, high impact, richly textured planting bed.  Plants were chosen for their interesting shapes and colors as well as their ability to provide year-round interest.   Boulders, red rock and landscape lighting completed the project.

HADDONFIELD - BACK LAWN RESTORATION PROJECT

EASTAMPTON, NEW JERSEY - EP HENRY WALL, PATH AND ELEVATED PATIO PROJECT

The following property located in Eastampton, New Jersey suffered from a lack of curb appeal.  Its cinder block retaining wall, poured concrete walkway and brick and concrete front porch showed severe signs of age and greatly detracted from the beautiful home and surrounding neighborhood.  We incorporated two curved walls joined by four steps, a winding pathway that leads to an elevated patio.  The yard was re-graded and seeded to finish the project.

BURLINGTON, NEW JERSEY - ROSE TRELLIS

This homeowner already had a great start on her backyard garden, but after seeing one of our other projects, contracted us to custom build a rose trellis for her climbers.  Designed for her yard, and custom built, we installed this large trellis that completed her outdoor living space.  No job is too small . . .

WESTAMPTON, NEW JERSEY - ROADSIDE BED RESTORATION

This beautiful property needed to revitalize a roadside bed with its older holly specimens that had suffered irreparable winter damage from heavy snow and extreme cold.   We were brought in to re-think the established planting and provide some pizzazz for our clients.  After removing the established inkberry, we incorporated colorful shrubs and perennials for the client to enjoy for years to come.  We hand selected interesting small boulders to anchor our plant choices.  Plants chosen included:  rosy glow barberry, dakota goldcharm spiraea, variegated liriope and several varieties of colorful hostas.  At different times of the year,  the homeowner adds geranium and chrysanthemum for additional punches of color.

COLLINGSWOOD, NEW JERSEY - CUSTOM BUILT PERGOLA AND SHADE GARDEN

This grand home, a Victorian manse, had a backyard that needed a little help to make it a backyard for entertaining and enjoying by the homeowners.  We were brought in to provide some ideas and transform the yard.  We recommended an expanded woodlands garden, incorporating native species shrubs like chokeberry, witchhazel, arrowwood, dogwood and deciduous azaleas.  The existing shed was removed, leaving a concrete slab.  We designed and built a pergola for the homeowners to sit under while enjoying their new outdoor living space.  The existing slab was stained to blend in with the surrounding plantings.  We also designed a sitting area for one corner of the yard, where a bench can be installed.  This project gave the homeowners several different outdoor rooms for their use.

MOUNT HOLLY, NEW JERSEY  - EP HENRY WALL and KOI POND

We were called in to salvage this homeowners dream of having a pond/pool greeting them when driving up to her house.  Another landscaper totally botched the job and we came in to rectify the situation.  We chose to incorporate a water feature and an EP Henry wall in this project.  The finished project complemented the home and added true curb appeal.  In addition to a structurally sound building material, the wall block also provides a great looking material that will last for years.  Adding plants and a rock waterfall completed the project.

VOORHEES, NEW JERSEY - SHADE GARDEN, PATH and DECK RESTORATION

The homeowners of this beautiful colonial in Sturbridge Lakes wanted us to design a shade garden suitable for their specific location.  The soil was mostly sand, modified over the years by the homeowners through the addition of topsoil rich in organic material.  We chose plants that do well in heavy shade to include numerous varieties of hostas, shade-loving carex, heuchera and some eight different cultivars of deciduous azaleas.  We incorporated a generous path made of Pennsylvania fieldstone, with a touch of lichen.  In addition to the planting job, we were also contracted to refurbish an existing deck that suffered some insect damage during its life.
